FAQ.

 
  • We accept applications from all UVA students. Diversity in major and experience allows us to generate the most innovative, practical and sustainable solutions for our clients. While GPA is considered, it is one of many factors we take into account when reviewing applications. Past applicants are also able and encouraged to re-apply.

  • Roughly 5 hours per week. This includes organization-wide meetings, project group meetings, and any research/tasks Project Managers may assign to Business Analysts. There may be some variation depending on the stage of a project, however we are considerate about our members' academic commitments and strive to work around them. Our members have typically found it very manageable to accommodate this commitment alongside other academic and extra-curricular involvement.

  • All of the above, but don't stress. We guarantee that you will be evaluated fairly within the context of your own background.   • 180 is the UVA CIO focused specifically on consulting for social impact and providing pro-bono service for nonprofits. We are a group of supportive, collaborative students working as a team together. We also have a variety of fun social events throughout each semester, such as ziplining, a sunset humpback hike, and brunches.

  • No! We encourage everyone to apply, and want our club to have diversity in thinking from a variety of perspectives. We not only have Commerce majors, but also students in Batten, engineering and computer science, pre-med and neuroscience, and so much more.
